About a week ago (it might be longer) J and I went to the liquor store to grab some wine for dinner. I usually make my selection based on the label on the bottle but this time we wanted to have a guaranteed winner. J called his mom and asked her if she has had any wine recently that she could recommend. She told us to try and Italian Puglia. This is something she tried at The Dirty Apron cooking school and really enjoyed.
We purchased Paiara Puglia and I believe we paid 11 or 12 dollars for the bottle. It was a deep red wine and probably comparable to a Cabernet Sauvignon (in my opinion). It was also very smooth. I really enjoyed this wine and will probably put in a steady rotation in my wine rack. I would definitely try this!
